1. Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor will inaugurate an exhibition at Dilli Haat ( Opp INA Market ) at 11.45 am. The exhibition , organized by United Nations , marks the International Year of Natural Fibres.
2. Vice Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen PC Bhardwaj will launch the Railway E-Ticketing facility for Armed Forces Personnel at 3.00 pm at CGDA Headquarters, Ulan Bator Road, Near Palam Airport, Delhi Cantt.
3. SHERA, the mascot of the Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi , is visiting the City Centre Mall-DLF city, M.G. Road , Gurgoan at 4:15pm to bring in cheers, give joy and create a sense of involvement with the upcoming commonwealth games for everyone.
4. Press Club of India is screening “Samsara” a film directed by Pan Nalin at 7.30 P.M. at Press Club Lawn.

1. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren will be sworn in as Chief Minister today at 10.30 am at the Marabadi Ground in Ranchi.
2. The Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (JAC) has threatened to enforce an indefinite bandh from December 30.
3. Maoists have given a 24-hour bandh call in five states on January 2 alleging that CPIM cadre fired at a Christmas tribal fair near Lalgarh in West Midnapore district.
4. Kalyan Singh will declare the formation of a new party on Jan 5, his birthday, in Lucknow.
