3. Montek Singh Ahluwalia to inaugurate seminar on “GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISIS: BACK TO KEYNES at 10: 30 a.m, at FICCI Auditorium , Tansen Marg. Kaushik Basu, Chief Economic Advisor, Dept of Economic Affairs, will give the keynote address at 2.30 p.m.

4. Curtain raiser of Auto Expo at 11 am at Hall 7, first floor, Pragati Maidan, addressed by Rajive Kaul, Dr Pawan Goenka – President SIAM and Jayant Davar – President ACMA. Media requested to reach at Gate no. 5 at media registrations Counter. From there trolleys will take mediapersons to Hall 7.

5. Organizing Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 organises a Signing Ceremony of MOU Partnership Announcement for Official Banker of the Games at 12.00 Noon at the ATRIUM, Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi, Jai Singh Road, NEW DELHI. Suresh Kalmadi, MP Chairman Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi & Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank will sign the MOU.

6. Mercedes-Benz India launches the Mercedes-Benz ‘Superlative Vehicles’ at The Regency Ballroom The Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Delhi, Bhikaji Cama Place, at 12:00 noon .

7. GM India will launch their Chevrolet Beat at 1.30 pm at Kamal Mahal, Maurya Sheraton. Karl Slym, President and MD , Ed Welburn, Global Design Head and Ankush Arora, VP – Sales, Services and Aftersales will address the media,.

8. Meera Kumar to brief the media at 2.00 pm at PIB Conference Hall on the Conference of Speakaers and Presiding Officers of Commonwealth Nations. Passes can be collected from CPIC.

9. Jairam Ramesh, Minister of State for the Ministry of Environment and Forests(Independent charge) will release-(a) Biodiversity brochure -"Achieving Biodiversity Target 2010:India's Contributions and (b) Calendar prepared by NMNH on the theme of Biodiversity at 3.00 P M at Conference Hall, Press Information Bureau, Shastri Bhavan.

10. GKN DRIVELINE is unveiling its low-cost driveline components & technologies designed to reduce emissions and fuel consumption for the world’s major auto companies at 3.30 pm at Connaught The Oberoi Hotel Dr. Zakir Hussain Marg . The Press Conference will be presided by Ravindra Ojha, Manager Director of GKN Driveline, India Operations

11. The Infosys Science Foundation organizes the presentation of the Infosys Prize 2009 by Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari, at January 4, 2010 at 6.30 pm at Durbar Hall, Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

12. Health Minister Shri Gulam Nabi Azad will inaugurate Patanjali Ayurved College at Haridwar at 12.00 noon.
