1. PRAVASI FILM FESTIVAL : Panel Discussion : NRI Films – ROAD AHEAD , Basu Chatterjee ( Feature Jury Chairman) , Mira Nair ( Director ‘Monsoon Wedding’) , Satish Kaushik ( film director ) and Dr Dhananjay Kumar will participate in the discussion at 11.00am at Casuarina Hall, IHC.

2. Thiru Dayanidhi Maran, Union Minister of Textiles, will deliver the keynote address at FICCI’s Conference on “Emerging Global Trends and the Way Forward for Indian Textiles Industry” at 11.00 A.M. at Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi .

15. Closing Ceremony of PRAVASI FILM FESTIVAL at 2.30 p.m. at Stein Auditorium by screening of film ‘Chehere (The Faces) by Rohit Kaushik .


16. The final year students & the trainer has designed a S.U.M. (Sports Utility Motorbike)- a Concept Bike, which combines the feature of a normal bike and the sports bike. This concept is developed first time in India. The clay model is kept on display at Hall No. DE 11, Pragati Maidan, from 3.00 pm onwards.

17. Kamal Nath , Commerce & Industry Minister , inaugurates Hyundai Motor India’s unique Hyundai Safety Zone at 5.00 pm at Hall No 7A –GH , Pragati Maidan. Arvind Saxena, Sr. Vice President, Marketing & Sales Mr H W Park, Managing Director, Hyundai Motor India will also be present at the occasion.
