1. Piramal Admiral’s Cup Golf Tournament 2010 where Civil servants and eminent citizens will fight for the coveted ‘Admiral’s Cup trophy’ against the Navy team under the aegis of the Chief of the Naval Staff. Participants from the Judiciary and Diplomatic Corps shall also be participating in the event at 9 AM at DDA Qutab Golf Course, Lado Sarai . MS Gill , Montek Singh Ahluwalia , Tejendera Khanna , Pawan Munjal are some of the leading participants.
2. Minister of Defence, A. K. Antony inaugurates a workshop on Integrity Pact (IP) at India International Centre (Auditorium, Main Building), Lodhi Road, at 9.30 am. Central Vigilance Commissioner, Pratyush Sinha will deliver the Keynote Address. The workshop aims to discuss the working of IP, a tool devised by Transparency International for clean bidding.
3. Lt Gen KJS Oberoi, GOC Delhi Area and Parade Commander Republic Day Parade – 2010 will brief media about Republic Day parade and Beating of Retreat at 12.30 PM at India Gate 2.
4. The Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda will flag off the first phase of City Bus Service, Faridabad at Municipal Corporation Auditorium, NIT, Faridabad 1.00 PM. Under the City Bus Service Scheme, 150 modern buses will be operated from Faridabad city.
