2. Traders will observe bandh till 1:00 pm in Delhi and would stage dharna and burn the VAT White Paper at Chowk hazi , ChWRI BAAZAAR AT 12.00 Noon.
3. Pradeep Jain, Chairman, Parsvnath Developers Limited and President, CREDAI NCR, organizing a conference on ‘IMPACT OF SERVICE TAX & OTHER ISSUES AFTER THE 2010 BUDGET’ at Le meridian from 10.00 AM onwards .
4. Kamalesh Sharma, Commonwealth Secretary General , arrives at 10:40 AM at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal-II Ceremonial Lounge, Lower Level
5. Captain Albert Louis (Ex 9 Para Commando & Special Forces, Indian Army) , Host Vivan Bhatena and Vishal (Dadagiri Season 1 & 2) for the auditions of DADAGIRI 3: Commando Force will interact with media at Laxman Public School, Hauz Khas Enclave, from 1:00 pm onwards
6. SEWA (Self Employed Women’s Association) launches the “Ananta” – a new collection of “Hansiba” from 5:00 pm onwards at National Crafts Museum, Bhairon Road, New Delhi Highlights: Sharmila Tagore and Milena Santana Ramirez, Ambassador, Embassy of Venezuela to walk the ramp , Three generations of rural artisan to walk the ramp and the tribal groups from the Vadodara district, promoted by SEWA will present their traditional “timli” dance .
7. The Embassy of France and the French Information Resource Centre observes the 50th death anniversary of Albert Camus, entitled -- Legacy of Camus….. from 6:00 p.m. onwards at 2, Aurangzeb Road. The evening will start with a dramatic reading in Hindi of extracts from Caligula, Les Justes and La Chute (The Fall), rendered by Jaimini Kumar. The occasion will also see the release of a book -- “Sense of the Sacred: Camus and India” – by Dr. Sharad Chandra.

6. Pranab Mukherjee's first visit as finance minister to the USA will be on April 24-25 to attend the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group .
7. Lt General Vijay Kumar Singh will be the next Indian Army chief. He will take over from the incumbent army chief General Deepak Kapoor on March 31.
