  1. UNICEF organizes the 4th INTERNATIONAL LEARNING EXCHANGE (ILE) PROGRAMME , INDIA, at 9.30 am  at  Hotel Claridges, New Delhi  Dr.  Chandra  Prakash Joshi,  Minister for Rural Development, will  inaugurate  the  4th  ILE  programme  and address the ILEparticipants.  In  all,  59  participants  from  18 countries, namely, Afghanistan, Sierra Leone,  Sudan,  Nigeria,  Kenya, Cambodia, Niger, Rawanda, Ghana, Djibouti, Angola, Bangladesh, Uganda, Indonesia, Zambia, Bhutan, Somalia, And Eritrea are expected to participate.

  1. The Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi has arranged for a bus facility for the accredited media during the ongoing Badminton Asia Championships 2010 (12th-18th April 2010). The bus will depart from the OC Headquarter, Jai Singh Marg at 11:00 AM  for Siri Fort Stadium - the venue for the event.

  1. ISLAMABAD: Former external affairs minister Jaswant Singh will release his controversial book on Pakistan's founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Pakistan, at Islamabad Club on April 14.

  1. Gene Campaign and Action Aid are organizing a national conference on Ensuring Food Security in a Changing Climate to generate greater awareness about this issue and to develop recommendations  for action, with stakeholder inputs. The conference is being organized in Delhi on 23 and 24 April, 2010 , at the Constitution Club ( Speakers Hall). Jairam Ramesh will inaugurate the conference. Dr MS Swaminathan will deliver the keynote address and a range of experts will address various aspects of  mitigation and coping with adaptation  in order to support sustainable food security.
