DIascussion will be between Secretary Geithner and Planning Commission                                                 Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia, moderated by Tarun Das,                                                 Chief Mentor for CII and President of Aspen Institute India.

ON WATCH - RADAR & FORTHCOMING EVENTS

1. The Left Front will hold a 'Jail Bharo' programme on April 8 throughout the country, except in West Bengal, to protest against the rise in prices of petrol, diesel and essential commodities.

2. All Petrol Pumps will remain closed on April 09, 2010 to register their protest against VAT in New Delhi.

3. Ranjana’s Academy of Dance, Utsav Educational and Cultural Society, is organizing a two-day international dance festival “Unbound Beats of India”, the third in this series, which will be held on the 12 & 13 April, 2010 at 7 p.m. at Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

7. Pranab Mukherjee's first visit as finance minister to the USA will be on April 24-25 to attend the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group .

8. The special court  will pronounce its verdict in Kasab Case on May 3.
