ASSIGNMENT FOR 3^rd APRIL , 2010

1.      Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh Census enumeration at 9.30 am at 7 RCR.

2.      Asia Pacific Institute of Management is organizing a select Press Interaction with Prof. Dilip Kumar Banerjee between 12:00  noon to 1:00 PM at Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Jasola Vihar, New Delhi.

3.      UTTRAN cast Veer & Tapasya will visit drug rehabilitation Centre at 12:30 PM at Gali No: 4 , Opp Batra Hospital , Sangam Vihar.

4.      Ministry of External Affairs  Official Spokesperson will brief media on visit of SM Krishna to China at 2:30 PM at XP Division Briefing Hall, Shastri Bhawan.

5.      'SONGS OF BLOOD AND SWORD' , the controversial book written by Fatima Bhutto, the outspoken niece of former Pakistani Prime Minster Benazir Bhutto, will be released at 7:00 PM at Taj mahal Hotel , New Delhi. 

ON WATCH - RADAR & FORTHCOMING EVENTS

1. The Left Front will hold a 'Jail Bharo' programme on April 8 throughout the country, except in West Bengal, to protest against the rise in prices of petrol, diesel and essential commodities.

2. Lok Sabha to resume its sitting on 15^th April , 2010.

3. Manmohan Singh will visit Washington in April to attend the Global Nuclear Security Summit to be hosted by the White House on April 12 and 13.

4. All Matathipathis (heads of mutts) and sadhus of South India would convene at Namakkal in Salem on April 18 to discuss the status of religious conversions.

5. Pranab Mukherjee's first visit as finance minister to the USA will be on April 24-25 to attend the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group .

6. The special court  will pronounce its verdict in Kasab Case on May 3.
