1.      Delhi Public School, R.K.Puram organizes an Interactive Session on Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) Scheme with Vineet Joshi, Chairman, CBSE at  7:30 AM  at DPS, RK Puram, New Delhi

2.      A Meeting to discuss the recommendations of the Task Force will be held under the Chairmanship of  Dinsha J. Patel, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises with the State Ministers and Secretaries (Industries/MSME). at 10.00 AM at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

5.      CII 2nd Global Industrial R&D Conclave on the occasion of National Technology Day  at 10:30 AM  at India Habitat Centre, Lodi Road, New Delhi. Participants are : Dr. Prithviraj Chavan, Minister for Science & Technology; Lubos Vanek, Czeck Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry & Head of Czech Delegation; Prof. S K Brahmachari, Secretary, DSIR & DG, CSIR;  D P Srivastava, Ambassador of India, Czeck Republic; Dinesh Rai, Secretary, MSME; Ajai Chowdhry, Chairman, CII National Committee on Technology & Innovation and Chairman & CEO, HCL Infosystems Ltd.; Pravir Kumar, JS, MSME and  Hari S Bhartia, President-Designate, CII.

6.      Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organizes media interaction on the occasion of the visit of a delegation of the  International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the global organization for the accountancy profession , at Council Hall, ICAI Bhawan, Indraparastha Marg, at 11.30 A.M.
              
7.      CII Interactive session with Mr Nandan Nilekani, Chairman, Unique Identification Authority of India at 12:00 Noon  at Sovereign Hall, Hotel Le Meridien, Janpath, New Delhi.

8.      Jairam Ramesh, Minister of State for Environment and Forests, Montek singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, Vijai Sharma, Secretary and Dr. Subodh K. Sharma, Adviser will attend the concluding session of National Workshop by Indian Network for Climate Change Assessment where INDIA: GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSION 2007 REPORT  will be released at 12.30 P M at Banquet Hall, Ashok Hotel, Chanakya Puri, New Delhi.

9.      Anand Sharma, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, and  Lim Hng Kiang, Minister for Trade and Industry, Singapore, will brief the press, at Committee Room No.47, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi at 12.30 P.M. AT 11:00 AM there will be a photo-op of the meeting.

10.  Naga Women in Delhi marching for Justice and Peace from 2.00 PM onwards and the procession will begin from Mandi House and will converge in a big rally at Jantar mantar at about 6:00 PM.

11.  The Chief Minister of Haryana, Bhupinder Singh Hooda will meet Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia to finalize Annual Plan 2010-11 of the State. The meeting will be held in Committee Room No.122, First Floor, Yojana Bhawan at 3.30 P.M.

12.  P. Chidambaram, Minister of Home Affairs,  releases a book “The Long View From Delhi” by Adml. Raja Menon and Rajiv Kumar ,  at 5:30 PM at the Nehru Auditorium, Teen Murti Marg, New Delhi. The launch would be followed by a panel discussion by  K. Subrahmanyam and Shivshankar Menon (National Security Adviser) and an address by the Chief Guest.

13.  Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India will be the Chief Guest on the occasion of Technology Day celebration. Prithviraj Chavan, Minister of State for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences (I/C) will also grace the occasion at 5.30 PM at Convention Hall, The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi.

14.  The UNFPA – LAADLI National Media Awards for Gender Sensitivity ( 2009 _2010 )  at 6:45 PM at FICCI Golden Jubilee Auditorium , Tansen Marg. 

15.  Santoor recital by ABhay Rustum Sopori at 7:00 PM at Stein Auditorium , India habitat Centre. On The occasion , RAAG –RANJINI AWARD will be presented to Pt Bhajan Sopori & Smt Sulochana Brihaspati and Abhay Sopori.
