1.      Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS ) is organizing a Symposium on “IT can happen in Government” in which  Nandan Nilekani, Chairman, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) will deliver the key note address at the inaugural session at  9.15  A.M. at Stein Auditorim, India Habitat Centre,       Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

2.      FICCI is organising a two-day “FICCI Environment Conclave 2010: Sustainable Waste Management: Harnessing the Potential for Business and Technology”  at 10:00 AM at FICCI, Tansen Marg . Saugata Roy, Minister of State for Urban Development will inaugurate the conclave.

3.      ICAR will felicitate Saina Nehwal renowned Badminton player will be felicitated for her glorious achievement in Badminton, at NASC Symposium Hall , PUSA at 10.30 a.m.

5.      Minister for Tourism Kumari Selja to be the Chief Guest at the “Unveiling Of The Code Of Conduct For Safe & Honourable Tourism” and felicitation of the young Mountaineers Arjun Vajpai and Mamta Sodha for summiting Mount Everest at 12.30 p.m. at Banquet Hall, The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi.

7.      Commonwealth Games organizes curtain raiser press conference of the ‘7TH ASIAN NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP’ by  Gurbir Singh, President, Netball Federation of India , O P Bhatia, Venue Commander, Thyagaraj Stadium at 4:00 pm at Press Conference Hall, Thyagaraj Sports Complex, New Delhi (near INA market)

8.      Salman Khurshid, Minister of Corporate Affairs, to address the Chartered Accountants’ Day Celebrations being organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan, at 5.00 P. M.
