3. Former Chief Justice of India, Justice K.G. Balakrishnan will take charge as the sixth chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) at 11.30 AM at NHRC Office , faridkot House , Coopernicus Marg.Justice Balakrishnan, 65, retired as CJI on May 12.


4. A MoU will be signed between Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology(IICPT), Thanjavur, India and the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada in the presence of Minister of Food Processing Industries, Subodh Kant Sahai at 12.15 p.m. at Cocktail Lounge, 3rd Floor, The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi.
