  1. On the 66th Birth Anniversary of former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi a remembrance ceremony will be held at Vir Bhumi on Friday, 20th August, 2010 at 6.15 a.m.

  1. Cabinet and CCI meeting to start at 9:30 in Parliament House.

  1. Salman Khurshid, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Corporate Affairs, Minority Affairs will address the Special Plenary at  10:00 AM at a seminar organized by CII on “CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY: REDEFINING PARTNERSHIPS”.

  1. The Ministry of Rural Development is organizing a National Workshop “MAHATMA GANDHI NREGA - ICT FOR PEOPLE’S EMPOWERMENT: ONE MORE STEP TOWARDS GOVERNANCE REFORMS AND TRANSPARENCY” on the occasion of the birth anniversary of  late Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India at 11.00 a.m. at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan,  New Delhi.

  1. PHD CHAMBER organizes  a Seminar on  “Working Capital and the New System of Base Rate” at 11:00 a.m. at PHD House, New Delhi where Dr. Janak Raj, Advisor-in-Charge, Monetary Policy Department, Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai , will be the chief guest.

ON WATCH - RADAR & FORTHCOMING EVENTS

1.                  Shashi Tharoor - Sunanda wedding on Aug 22 at Sree Padmanabha Swami temple in thiruvananthapuram.

2.                  President ,  Pratibha Devisingh Patil will inaugurate the International  Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) at Hyderabad on 19th August 2010. 

3.                  Women’s hockey World Cup 2010 to be held in Rosario, Argentina, from Aug 29 to Sep 11.

4.                  The Akhil Bhartiya Gujjar Arakshan Sangarsh Samiti (ABGASS) would launch a fresh agitation in Rajasthan from August 29 if its demand of five per cent reservation to gujjars was not granted.

5.                  The Congress Yatra, to commemorate the 125th year of Congress' foundation, will culminate on November 10 with a rally of party President Sonia Gandhi at Allahabad.

Former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was born on August 20,1944.His fate number is 28 that adds up to 10.He was assassinated on may 21,1991.Addition of the whole numbers alaso give 28.He was assassinted while compaigning for the 10th Indian Parliamentary election.He was assassinated by the LTTE.The former Sri Lankan President Premadasa was assassinated by the LTTE on May 1,1993.Addition of the whole numbers gives 28 that adds up to 10,as that of Rajiv Gandhi.Further,Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated on 21st which adds up to 3.The occult number of Gandhiji is 21 that adds up to 3.Gandhiji was assassinated on January 30 that adds up to 3.
    Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by the LTTE.Premadasa was also assassinated by the LTTE.Both of them were assassinated in the month of May.As a poetic justice,LTTE supremo Prabhakaran was killed in the month of May.
    Coming back to Rajiv Gandhi,his grand father Nehru expired in the month of May.
