1.      ORGANISING COMMITTEE COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2010 DELHI invites you to meet Shera, mascot of Delhi 2010 at DPS International  School, Saket Date: 28 September 2010, Tuesday Time: 9:00 am.

2.      Lt Gen Viond Nayanar, Director General & Col Commandant and other Col Commandants of Regiment of Artillery will lay wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate on the occasion of  “Gunners Day Celebration” at 9:40 AM.

3.      Kuwaiti oil minister Sheikh Ahmad al-Abdullah al-Sabah will meet Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh at 10:00 AM at 7 RCR.

4.      Former Prime Minister and National President, Janata Dal (Secular), H D Deve Gowda would be making an important announcement pertaining to the upcoming Assembly elections in Bihar at 11.00 am at 5, Safdarjung Lane, Near Indira Gandhi Museum, New Delhi

5.      Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will release the Budget Manual, a compendium of general provisions and procedures relating to Budget making on 28th September, 2010 (Tuesday) at 11.15 a.m. at Room No. 72, North Block, Finance Ministry, New Delhi

6.      Launch of Business Club India Australia at 12;00 Noon on Sept 28 at Australian High Commission  participants are Australian High Commissionr , and others.

7.      ORGANISING COMMITTEE COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2010 DELHI organizes the launch of theme song of Volunteer Programme  DELHI UNITED IN SPIRIT IN...ACTION at Le' Meridian, Sovereign Hall, New Delhi at 12.00 noon.

8.      Thiru. Dayanidhi Maran, Minister of Textiles , will inaugurate ‘Museum Shop  by  Handlooms and Handicrafts Export Corporation( HHEC), at  5.00 P.M. at  Museum Shop, National Museum, Janpath, New Delhi

9.      The prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowships & Akademi Awards for the year 2009 will be conferred by Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India at 5:30 pm at Kamani auditorium, New Delhi. This year the fellowship will be conferred to maestros Lalgudi Jayaraman, Shreeram Lagoo, Yamini Krishnamurti, Kamlesh Dutt Tripathi, Pandit Jasraj and Kishori Amonkar

10.                        To commemorate the 100th death anniversary of Lev Tolstoy, Alexander M. Kadakin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in India will launch the book "A HUNDRED YEARS OF LEV TOLSTOY AND THE INDIAN CONNECTION" witten by Achala Moulik, I.A.S. (Retd.) at India International Centre Annexe, Conference Hall, Max Mueller Marg, at 6. 30 p.m.

11.                        SHERA , the mascot of CWG , will meet President OPratibha Devisingh Patil at 6:30 PM at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Media to reach by 5:45 PM.
