Balakrishanan, Chairperson, National Human Rights Commission of India will release the book titled “Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities – A guide by Commonwealth Secretariat” at 11.00 a.m. at the Court Room of the National Human Rights Commission, Faridkot House, Copernicus Marg .

Plan India organizes a  Press Conference on the occasion of the culmination of Universal Birth Registration Campaign (Ensuring 100% Birth Registration campaign 2005-2010) at 12:00 Noon at The Theatre, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Dr. Chandramaouli, Registrar General of India, will also be present to throw light on achievements of  project .

7. Minister for Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation (HUPA), Kumari Selja to address a Press Conference on Dr. Pranob Sen Committee Report on various aspects of Slum Statistics/Census and guide conduct of Slum Census 2011 at  1:00 PM at  PIB Conference Hall, 1st floor, ‘A’ Wing, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi .

8. Delhi Metro's Central Secretariat-Qutub Minar corridor will be inaugurated by  Union Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy will inaugurate the corridor and flag-off the first train from the Udyog Bhawan Metro station in the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit at 1:00 PM

9. Sheila Dixit , Chief Minister , to chair an all important meeting with officials of CPWD, NDMC , MCD regarding Commonwealth Games preparation at 4:00 PM at Delhi Secretariate.

10. 6th Hospitality India & Explore the World Annual International Awards - 2010 in association with Austrian Tourism is scheduled to be held at Ashok Hotel, Convention Hall, New Delhi at 6.30 p.m.
