5.      A 3-member delegation from Argentina will meet Prof. K.V. Thomas, Minister of State for Agriculture, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution at  Conference Room No. 142, 1st Floor, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi at  11.30 a.m.

6.      GOC Delhi Area and Chairman Durand Football Tournament Society will brief the press on forthcoming Durand football tournament at Taurus Officers Institute, Delhi Cantt at 12:00 Noon .

7.      Dr. P.L. Punia, who will be taking over as Chairman, National Commission for Scheduled Castes , will address a Press Conference at 12.00 Noon at Conference Hall of National Commission for Scheduled Castes, 'B' Wing, 5th Floor, Loknayak Bhawan, Khan Market, Lodhi Road.

8.      Mallika Sherawat to address a press conference for her new film HISSS at 2:30 PM at Wave Cinema , Noida.

9.      Jairam Ramesh, Minister of State for the Ministry of Environment and Forests (Independent charge) will brief the media about Conference of Parties (COP-10) of Convention on Biological Diversity at 3:00 PM at PIB Conference hall. The 10th meeting of COP-10 begins at Nagoya, Japan from 18th to 29th October 2010.

10.  The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams will address the media at  6:00 PM at  British Council, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi.

11.  The Sri Lankan Minister of External Affairs, Prof. G.L. Peiris, will deliver the Second RK Mishra Memorial Lecture at 6.30 PM at the auditorium of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, Teen Murti Bhawan. The theme of the lecture this year is "Growth, Equity and Security: Constitutional Imperatives for South Asia".

12.  The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams will deliver the Chevening Lecture at the British Council entitled “Pluralism and the Dialogue of Religions at  7:00 PM at  British Council, Kasturba Gandhi Marg .
