1.     Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) and Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP) is organizing a seminar on “Clean Coal India 2010” at 09:30 AM at Silver Oak Hall, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. Dr. R Chidambaram, Principal Scientific Advisor to Prime Minister of India, will address the Inaugural Session at 10:10 AM.

2.    Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India will inaugurate the 11th International Conference on Public Communication of Science & Technology at 10.00 AM at National Agriculture Science Centre Complex, Pusa, New Delhi.

3.    FICCI jointly with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UNDP-GEF (Global Environment Facility) Project Management Cell is organising a one-day National Conference on “Improving Energy Efficiency in Indian Secondary Steel Sector Including Steel Re-Rolling Mills” at                 10:30 AM at FICCI, Tansen Marg, New Delhi Virbhadra Singh, Union Minister of Steel will inaugurate the conference as per the following schedule:

4.    George Yeo, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Singapore, will be meeting Anand Sharma, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, at 11:00 AM at Minister’s Chamber, Room No.45, Udyog Bhawan.

5.    Briefing by Secretary (West) on the visit of Prime Minister to Brussels and Berlin at 2:45 PM at XP Briefing Hall, Shastri Bhavan

6.    Dr. T. Ramasami, Secretary, DST and his German Counterpart Mr. Thomas Rachel, Parliamentary State Secretary will inaugurate the office premises of Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC) and address the media at  3.00 PM at Plot No.- 102, Sector-44, Institutional area, GURGAON (Haryana).

7.    Salman Khurshid, Minister for Corporate Affairs, to interact with the Media about the forthcoming India Corporate Week-2010, at 34:00 PM at PIB Conference Hall, A-wing, 1st Floor, Shastri Bhavan.

8.    Launch of the book “Unleashing India – Powering the Nation” , authored by Dr. M . Veerappa Moily , Union Minister for law & Justice , is scheduled to be held at 6.00 PM at Sri Sathya Sai International Centre, Pragati Vihar, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.Sushilkumar Shinde will release the book , Murli Deora and BK Chaturvedi , Member , Planning Commission, will speak on the occasion.

9.    Cabinet meeting at 6:00 PM at South Block.

10.                       SAGE Publication book “Restoring Values” edited by E Sreedharan, Managing Director, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Bharat Wakhlu, Resident Director, Tata Group is being released by Justice Shri Altamas Kabir, Judge, Supreme Court of India at 6:30 PM at the Auditorium, Delhi Metro Bhawan, Fire Brigade lane, Connaught Place.

11.                        Bauma Conexpo Expo India Pvt. Ltd. launches “bc Expo India 2011” and the press conference will be addressed by Mr. THOMAS LOEFFLER, CEO, bc India Pvt. Ltd. at 7:00 PM at Le Meridien Hotel, Delhi.
