·        ORF organizes a seminar on "WHITHER CHINA: PROSPECTS AND DIRECTION"  at 9:30 AM at 20 Rouse Avenue.The Foreign Secretary, Nirupama Rao, will deliver the inaugural address.

·        Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) organizes  Partners' meeting in collaboration with Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) at Constitutional Club,New Delhi from7:00 PM onwards. The overall goal of this joint effort is to make affordable and effective treatments for Malaria and Kala Azar available to the patients in need in India.

·        Celebrating the “International Day of Persons with Disabilities”,  Sambhavana organizes  annual conference on the theme –DISABILITY: TRANSLATING NEEDS AS RIGHTS PANELS–DISABILITY RIGHTS AND THE LEGAL FRAMEWORK; CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) AND DISABILITY from 9:30 Am onwards at Gandhi Peace Foundation, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg, (Near ITO),New Delhi. Speakers are –Prof. Upendra Baxi, Ram Jethmalani, Collin Gonsalves, Dr. Krishan Mahajan, Ashok Arora, Ms. Merry Barua, Mr. Rajive Raturi, Brigadier Rajiv Williams, Mr. Subhash Chandra Vashishth and others.

·        Dr. Armin Brunk , MD, Siemens Ltd. Launches the Siemens Sustainability Program by the Ace badminton star  Saina Nehwal  at 10:30 hrs. at CWG Badminton Court, Cluster IV, Siri Fort Sports Complex, CWG Stadium, Delhi.

• The Nobel Museum, Stockholm, Sweden and The National Science Centre, Delhi (National Council of Science Museums) Ministry of culture, Government of India inaugurates    the exhibition ALFRED NOBEL NETWORKS OF INNOVATION by Lars-Olof Lindgren , Swedish Ambassador to India at 11:00 AM at National Science Centre, Pragati Maidan (near gate no 1), Bhairon Road.

• President ,  Pratibha Devisingh Patil will give away the National Awards for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, 2010 at 11.00 A.M. at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

                  

• The Editors Guild along with the Press Association and the Press Club has organized an interaction on Radia Tapes and Journalistic Ethics. Participants are Vinod Mehta, Mrinal Pandey , Rajdeep Sardesai and Sunil Jain from 11:00 AM onwards at Press Club of India.

·        Seminar on  ‘School Education at Cross Roads : Challenges Ahead’ at 11:30 am at  DPS Mathura Road,the first school of the DPS Society. The Press meet will be addressed by  Ashok Chandra, Chairman, DPS Society in the presence of DPS Principals of Mathura Road, R K Puram, Noida, Vasant Kunj, Faridabad, Rohini, Dwarka & International-Saket.

·        National Conference to review JNNRUM, organized by Ministry of Urban Development will be addressed by Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee, MontekSingh Ahluwalia, Jaipal Reddy, Kumari Selja at Dr D. S. Kothari Auditorium, DRDO Bhawan, New Delhi at 12.30 P.M            

·        Dr M S Gill, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports will felicitate the “Common Wealth Games Women Gold Medallists” at 3:00 PM at  FICCI, New Delhi .Ms. Saina Nehwal, Badminton; Ms. Krishna Poonia, Discus Throw; Ms. Anisa Sayed, Pistol Shooting; Ms. Deepika Kumari, Recurve Archery and Ms. Ashwini Ponnappa, Badminton will be present at the function.

·        Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India will inaugurate National Conference on Rural Prosperity Through Better Agriculture at Vigyan Bhawan from 5.00 p.m.

·        The book “One little Finger” written by Malini Chib will be released on Friday, 3rd December 2010, on “World Disability Day” in New Delhi at the Lawns, IIC Annexe at 6: 30 pm .

·        100 PIPERS PURE MUSIC organizes SEAGRAM’S 100 Pipers JAZZ UTSAV’10 from from 6:30 p.m onwards at  FICCI Auditorium, Delhi.

·        Inauguration of SUMI- Reflections of the Eastern Spirit by a group show of four women artists Aruna Vasudeva, Mun Jang Hee, Shobha Juneja & Yuriko Ando Lochan Exhibition will be inaugurated by Hideaki Domichi,  Ambassador of Japan to India with Satish Gujral from  7:00 PM at Gallery Ensign, B-17, Geetanjali Enclave.
