·        Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution will launch the Negotiable Warehouse Receipt (NWR) System to help the farmers to seek loans from banks against NWR at 11.00 a.m. at  Auditorium, Central Warehousing Corporation, Warehousing Bhawan, 4/1 Sirifort Institutional Area, August Kranti Marg, Hauz Khas.

·         US Ambassador Timothy Roemer to visit USAIDS projects in Sanjay Gandhi settlement colony behind Sanskriti School at 11:00 AM. 

·        The United Nations Office for Coordination of Human Affairs(UNOCHA) conducts a Regional Earthquake Response Exercise every year in the Asia-Pacific Region. In this connection,  National Disaster Management Authority(NDMA) would hold a  Briefing to the Media about the objective of conducting the subject exercise at 11:30 AM  in NDMA Bhavan, A-1 Safdarjung Enclave.

·        CII Annual Intellectual Property Awards-2011 at 11:30 AM at Soverign Hall, Hotel Le Meridien, Janpath with Chief Guest as Anand Sharma, Minister of Commerce and Industry and many others attend the function.
