6.      Press meet on “Chemistry & Clean Technologies” by Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India to mark the significance of International Year of Chemistry 2011 at 3.00 P.M. at Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), IP Estate (near ITO), Ring Road, New Delhi.

7.      Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Managing Director, World Bank will call on Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee at 5.00 P.M. at  FM’s Chamber, North Block, New Delhi

8.      Nirupama Rao, Foreign Secretary , to launch the book “Tagore and China” authored by Tan Chung, Amiya Dev, Wang Bangwei and Wei Liming at 7:00 pm at M L Bhartia Auditorium, Alliance Francaise, 72 Lodi Estate. The book is the first full account in English of Rabindranath Tagore’s visit to China and its civilizational import. Perhaps for the first time, exhaustive material related to the visit has been collected.

9.      French  Ambassador , Jérôme Bonnafont, will confer the distinction on Mr Rahul Bajaj and Mr Baba N. Kalyani during an award ceremony, which will be preceded by an interaction with the media at 7:30 P.M. at 2/50 E, Nyaya Marg, Chanakyapuri.
