ASSIGNMENT , JUNE 24th , 2011

·        Union Minister of Labour and Employment  Mallikarjun Kharge will chair the 194th meeting of the Central Board of Trustees (EPF) of EPFO at  11.00 a.m. at  EPFO Head Office, 14-Bhikaiji Cama Place, New Delhi-110066

·        SPACE Foundation in collaboration with American Center is organizing a one-day camp based on astronomy and space science at  American Center – Auditorium , American Center, 24 Kasturba Gandhi Marg from 11:00 AM onwards.

·        Signing of MOU on IGNOU-NAVY Community College /Scheme “SAGARDEEP” at KOTA House Conference Hall (First Floor) at 11:15 AM .

·        The Minister for  Law & Justice Dr. M. Veerappa Moily  will  address the media on the Rajiv Gandhi Advocate’s Training Scheme which is to be launched on 27 June, 2011  at 3.30 p.m. at Minister’s Conference Room, 4th Floor, Shastri Bhawan


·        Meeting for finalization of Annual Plan outlay for 2011-12 of the State will be held between Deputy Chairman Planning Commission  Montek Singh Ahluwalia and Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi in Room No.122, at 3.30 PM .

·        Jérôme Bonnafont, Ambassador of France to India, has the pleasure of unveiling an Indian Spring in France, an exclusive glimpse of the 2011 Indian cultural presence in France at 7 p.m. at the Embassy of France 2/50E, Shantipath, Chanakyapuri . Kumari Selja, Minister of Culture, Government of India and Dr Karan Singh, President, Indian Council for Cultural Relations will attend the function.



·        MUMBAI : Panel discussion on the book titled INDIA'S PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY ON TRIAL (Rupa, 2011) authored by Dr. Madhav Godbole (former Union Home Secretary) in the "Who Are We" hall of the Nehru Centre, first floor, Dr. Annie Besant Road,Worli, at 5:00 PM . The panelists will be Professor Nagindas Sanghvi (political comentator), Professor N.R. Madhava Menon (Founder/Director of the National Law School, Bangalore) and Dr. Subhash Kashyap (former Secretary-General of the Lok Sabha).
