1.   S M Krishna , Minister of External Affairs, inaugurate the ICAI’s one day conclave to provide an interface between various user groups in the emerging global economic scenario and considering the developing relationship that India  has with its trading partners, from 9.30 am onwrds at Sovereign- I Hall, Le Meridien, New Delhi.

2.      Eighth Meeting of the India – US  High   Technology Cooperation  Group meeting  from 10:00 AM onwards  at India Habitat Center, Gulmohar Hall, Lodi Road.Nirupama Rao, Foreign Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, and Eric I Hirschhorn, Under Secretary of Industry and Security, US Department of Commerce would be delivering opening plenary session.

3.   Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Ajay Makan, to  address inaugural National Workshop on ‘Youth for Population Stabilisation’ to celebrate the World Population Day  at  10.00  a.m. at  Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan, Maulana Azad Marg, New Delhi.

4.   Radhika Doraiswamy, Secretary of, Department of Posts Ministry of Communication & Information Technology will inaugurate the ‘National Philatelic Museum’ at  11.00 am at  Dak Bhawan, New Delhi.

5.      CUTS International releases the book  "Growth and Poverty: The Great Debate", by  Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission,  from 11:30 AM onwards at New Extension Building, India International Centre, New Delhi.

6.   On the 63rd Birth day of veteran journalist Late Shri Udayan Sharma, a seminar on “Issue of Corruption and Role of Media’, is being orgnised at Speaker Hall, Constitution Club, Rafi Marg, from  3:00 PM onwrds. Union Information and Broadcastign Minister Smt. Ambika Soni, will be the Chief Guest of the seminar.

7. FICCI is organising an interactive meeting with Radoslaw Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland at 3:45 PM at   FICCI, Tansen Marg The focus of the meeting is to reinvigorate India-Poland trade relations and enhancing the level of engagement between the two countries.

8.   Dr. Karan Singh will release  book SHKESPEARE : THE INDIAN ICON at 4:00 PM at India Int Centre.

9.   Praful Patel , Minister for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises,  will be holding a meeting with CEOs of the Automotive Industry at 4:00 p.m. (photo opp. of inaugural function) at  Crystall Ball Room-II, Hotel The Lalit, New Delhi and p/c at 6:00 PM.
