1.      CII & CAPART organizes CSR-CSO Bridge 2011, Moving the Growth Story Forward through Inclusive Partnerships at 09:30 AM at Hotel The Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.  Jairam Ramesh, Minister for Rural Development will deliver the Inaugural Address at 10:00 AM.

2.      The Union Finance Minister  Pranab Mukherjee will be the Chief Guest at the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Indian Economic Service (IES) at 9.30 a.m. at Convention Hall, Hotel Ashok, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi . On the occasion, Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission and Dr. D. Subbarao , Governor, Reserve Bank of India will also address the gathering.

3.      Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare Sudip Bandyopadhyay will deliver the Inaugural Address at the Life Science Conclave 2011 at  10.00 a.m. at Hotel Lalit,  New Delhi.

4.      Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology and FICCI are jointly organising an. To highlight the salient features of the event  Kapil Sibal, Minister for Communications and Information Technology will inaugurate the curtain raiser ceremony for International Exhibition & Conference-‘India Telecom 2011: m-powering India’ to be held from December 7-9, 2011 in New Delhi at 11:00 AM at Ballroom, Hotel Shangri-La, Ashoka Road, New Delhi

5.      Pratibha Devisingh Patil will give away the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award/ Dronacharya Awards/ Arjuna Awards, Dhyan Chand Awards, Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar and Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards at 11:30 AM at ASHOK HALL, RASHTRAPATI BHAWAN, NEW DELHI

The Press Conference would be addressed by Ajay Shriram, Chairman, CII National Committee on Sugar & Chairman & Senior Managing Director, DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd; Rajshree Pathy, Co-Chairperson, CII National Committee on Sugar & CMD, Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd and  Mr Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, CII .

9.      22nd Tara Ali Baig Memorial Lecture at  Multipurpose Hall, India International Centre Extension New Building 40, Max Mueller Marg from 5.00 pm onwards. Chief Guest Razia Ismail Abbasi (Convenor) India Alliance for Child Rights  and  Dr. Steven Rudolph Founder- Director of Jiva Education (Faridabad) will speak on ‘Multiple Natures’. SOS Children’s Villages of India hosts this event in the month of August every year, in order to commemorate the birthday of the President of the Organization, Late. Smt Tara Ali Baig, one of India’s most eminent social workers.
