1.      The 16th Home Secretary Level Meeting between India and Myanmar would be held at New Delhi  from 10:30 AM onwards.   Home Secretary  G.K.Pillai would lead the Indian delegation and the visiting delegation would be led by Myanmar Deputy Minister for Home Affairs U. Phone Swi. At this meeting, Home Secretary is likely to raise concern on activities of Indian Insurgent Groups operating along India-Myanmar border and request action against them by Myanmar Government. Issues relating to strengthening of Intelligence Sharing Mechanism between the two countries, Arms Smuggling, Drug Trafficking, Border Management, Border Trade etc. would also be discussed at the proposed meeting.

2.      CAG to brief PAC on 2G spectrum at 11:00 AM in  room number 53 at Parliament House.

3.      Press conference for the 61st IMG-Reliance National Basketball Championship for Men and Women, organised by the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and IMG-Reliance, at the Talkatora Stadium at 3:00 PM. BFI’s secretary-general  Harish Sharma will speak to the media about the tournament.

4.      Shri Salman Khurshid, Minister of Corporate Affairs, to release a book titled ‘Wealth Creation and Destruction through Initial Public Offering (IPOs) in India: 2001 to 2009’ at 5:00 PM at India International Centre , Annexe Auditorium, 40, Max Mueller Marg.
