1. Rugby India organizes All India Under -16 Inter State Rugby tournament at 9.00 am at Daulat ram College , Delhi University.

2. Vice President Hamid Ansari to inaugurate the cricket match between MPs team and Journalist team at Siri fort Sports complex at 9.30 am.

3. Lt Gen PC Bhardwaj, Vice Chief of the Army Staff and officers from Army, Navy and Air Force will lay the wreath on the occasion of Vijay Diwas at 0950 hrs at NOIDA Shaheed Smarak SECTOR 37 Arun Vihar Residence Welfare Association Kalyan Kendra NOIDA.

4. Nitin Gadkari who is slated to become President of BJP is arriving at Delhi Domestic Airport at 10.00 am by Air India flight. He will leave Nagpur at 8.00 am.

5. Kumari Selija will inaugurate the“North India Domestic Tourism Road Show” organized by Egypt Tourism Authority & Egyptian Embassy at 10:00 am at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon, Haryana .

6. President Pratibha Devisingh Patil will celebrate her birthday at Rashtrapati Bhawan. From 10.00 am only VIPs will go and wish her and after 1.00 pm onwards President will meet common people which is open for media.

7. Dr. M.S. Gill, Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports will deliver the Presidential address at “Prime Minister’s Shield Competition Rally” organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides at Nehru Museum, Teen Murti Bhawan at 11.15 a.m.

8. Life Cell organizes the “ Great Expectation Show “---- the show to celebrate pregnancy with expecting moms with a fashion show at 11.30 am at Hotel Grand , Vasant Kunj.

9. Tamana, an NGO , is celebrating their Silver Jubliee this year and the President Pratibha Devisingh Patil will be the chief guest at the occasion, where the students of Tamana will be performing in a cultural program created specially to celebrate this milestone at 11:30 am at Le Meridien,


10. The Closing Plenary session of Aspen Institute India’s Ideas India 2009 begin on 19th December 2009 at 1145 hrs at Hotekl taj Palace. , to be addressed by Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for External Affairs

11. Uma Bharati will address a press conference at 12.00 noon at Press Club of India.
