ASSIGNMENT FOR 9th JANUARY , 2010

1. PRAVASI BHARATIYA DIVAS : Plenary III will start at 9.30 am and will continue till 11.30 am at Vigyan Bhawan. This is the sessions with Chief Ministers on SKILLS DEVELOPMENT. Ghulam Nabi Azad , Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia , Vayalar Ravi and Chief Ministers will address the session.

2. The Conference on Transport “Transport Solutions for a World-Class City” will be held at Hall No 8, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi at 10.30 am where Arvinder Singh Lovely, Minister of Education, Transport, Gurudwara Elections and Administration, Government of Delhi , will deliver the Keynote Address during the Inaugural Session.

3. 9th January, Domestic Workers Day , is being observed at Ramlila Maidan at 10.30 am where domestic workers and celebrants will assemble . Peaceful rally with banner, play cards and slogans from Ramlila Maidan to Rajghat. SHEILA DIXIT, CHIEF MINISTER, WILL ADDRESS THE GATHERING AT 3.00PM AT RAJGHAT ALONG WITH OTHER DIGNITARIES .

4. Chief Minister of Delhi Smt Shiela Dikshit will visit the NCC Republic Day Camp 2010 and address the NCC cadets at 11.00 am at DG NCC Republic Day Camp, Garrison Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt.

5. President , Pratibha Patil , to administer polio drops to kids at 11.30 am at rashtrapati Bhavan. Media will have to reach by 10.30 am.

6. PRAVASI BHARATIYA DIVAS :There will be Parallel State Sessions from 12.00 noon till 1.15 pm at Vigyan Bhavan.

7. PRAVASI BHARATIYA DIVAS: Bihar Government , Intellectual organize an interactive session on investment opportunity at Vigyan Bhavan Annexe , Hall A at 12.00 Noon.

8. Meera Kumar , Lok Sabha Speaker , will inaugurate the Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammelan at 12.30 pm at Dada Mela Ground , Sector 8 , Dwarka.

9. PRAVASI BHARATIYA DIVAS : Concurrent session will begin at 2.30 pm and will continue till 4.00 pm. The topic will be returning to 9% growth and will be addressed by Jairam ramesh , Anil Kumar Bachoo and other dignitaries.

10. PRAVASI BHARATIYA DIVAS : Valeditory session will be at 5.00 pm which will be addressed by Vayalar Ravi.

11. PRAVASI BHARATIYA DIVAS : Cultural programme and dinner at Taj Palace Hotel from 7.00 pm.
