ASSIGNMENT FOR 16th JANUARY , 2010

1. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Nirmal Verma will visit the NCC Republic Day Camp 2010 and address the Officers and cadets at 10. 00 am at DG NCC Republic Day Camp, Garrison Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt.

2. Year 2009/10 marks the Platinum Jubilee of the Reserve Bank. It is a momentous milestone in the history of this great institution-an occasion to celebrate and also an occasion to look ahead by looking back. To mark the occasion, President , Pratibha Devisingh Patil , will release the Commemorative Stamp at 11.30 AM at the Reserve Bank of India, New Delhi. Hon’ble Union Finance Minister, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Hon’ble Minister of State for Banking and Insurance, Shri Namo Narain Meena and former RBI Governors will be part of this august gathering on this momentous day.

3. A special screening of Marathi film "Harishchandrachi Factory", will take place at the Rashtrapati Bhawan Jan 16. This film is India's official entry to the Oscars, TIME NOT CONFIRMED.

4. Press Conference on the launch of New Flagship Experience Centre and Panasonic's association with All India Football Association at 5 pm Venue: ABW Tower, Gurgaon Near IFFCO Chowk. Guests of Honour are Praful Patel and Bollywood Diva Diya Mirza The Press Conference will be followed by a Fashion Show by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna at Leela Kempinski, Pearl Ballroom.
