2.      Gitanjali Lifestyle organizes the  flag off  of GIANTTI SUPERCAR SHOW with Bollywood actor Dino Morea at 10:30 AM at The Aman Hotel, Lodhi road, New Delhi . Show to conclude at Jaypee Greens Gold Course, Greater Noida .

3.      Dr. M.S.Gill, Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports will inaugurate Wrestling Stadium in Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex at 11.30 am at Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex.  Entry through “H” Gate , Adjacent to  Secretariat, Delhi Govt. New Delhi.

4.      General VK Singh,  Chief of Army Staff will host a tea for 50 Award Winners including awardees of Param Vishist Seva Medal,     Kirti Chakra, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, Ati Vishist Seva Medal and Shaurya Chakra at 6:30 PM at Army Battle Honours Mess SP Marg (Opposite Taj palace Hotel) New Delhi 

5.      National School of Drama in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts presents KAHINOOR MOBILE THEATRE FESTIVAL (ASSAM) at 7.15 p.m. , followed by the performance of ASSEMAT JAR HERAL SEEMA (Lost in Infinity) in Assamese at IGNCA , 3 – Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road , New Delhi.

6.      SM Krishna , External Affairs Minister , hosts dinner for Dr. Zalmay Rassoul, Foreign Minister of Afghanistan at 7:45  PM at The Chambers at Hotel Taj Mahal.

  1. The government has convened a meeting of MPs belonging to 33 worst Naxal-affected districts on April 30 to apprise them about its strategy to deal with the Maoists. Home minister P Chidambaram and top home ministry officials will brief the MPs . Of the 33 districts, 10 are in Jharkhand, seven in Chhattisgarh, six in Bihar, five in Orissa, two in Maharashtra, one each in Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh

  1. The special court  will pronounce its verdict in Kasab Case on May 3.
