1.      Media Walkthrough is being organized at the Integrated Passenger Terminal of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport which is ready for the launch. 1: GROUP 1 (English Print – Newspapers, Magazines, Wires) visit to T3  from 10 am to 11:30 am (Please assemble at Centaur Hotel, IGI Airport at 9:00 AM . 2. GROUP 2(Hindi and other Regionals – Newspapers) visit to T3 from 12 noon to 1:30 pm (Please assemble at Centaur Hotel, IGI Airport at 11:00 AM. 3: GROUP 3 : All Electronic Media visit to T3 from 3 pm to 5 pm (Please assemble at Centaur Hotel, IGI Airport at 2 PM.

2.      Bharatsinh Solanki, Minister of State for Power will visit the NTPC Power Station at Dadri to review its progress , attend the naming ceremony of Stadium within the NTPC Township in Dadri and will also interact with media at 10 :00 AM at NTPC, Dadri.

3.      Sriprakash Jaiswal, Minister for Statistics & Programme Implementation and Coal will inaugurate workshop on National Consultation on Certification of Project Managers being organized by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation in Hall No.4, Vigyan Bhavan at 10.15 Hrs.

4.      Hyundai Motor India Ltd. Organizes the launch of  ‘THE ALL NEW VERNA TRANSFORM’ at 10.30 AM at The Grand Vasant Kunj, Phase – II Nelson Mandela Road.

5.      LK Advani and M Venkiah Naidu will address Pt DeenDayal Upadhyay’s Punyatithi lecture at 10:30 AM at Condtitution Club.

6.      United Nations Information Centre organizes Media launch of the UN Secretary General’s Report Millennium Development Goals 2010 Chief Guest Ms. Brinda Karat Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha Ms. Jayati Ghosh Professor of Economics, Jawaharlal Nehru University will present the highlights of the Report at 10:30 A.M. at UN Conference Hall, 55 Lodi Estate.

7.      Dr.M.Veerappa Moily, Union Minister of Law and Justice will hold a Press Conference on ‘National Litigation Policy’ at 11.00 A.M. at PIB Conference Hall, Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi.

8.      The launch of first Indian Mobile Handset powered with Push Mail Feature by MVL Telecom Limited at 11.30 AM at Le Meridean Hotel.

9.      The first KITCHEN REALITY SHOW of COLORS TV with RONIT ROY & PRAGATI MEHRA at Yantra Hall , The Park Hotel at 12:00 Noon.

10.  Roberto Zagha , the Country Director for The World Bank India, , will address the media and will share highlights of this year's lending program and the direction that the Bank lending is likely to take in the next few years in its engagement in the country at 2.45 PM at The World Bank, 70 Lodi Estate, New Delhi 110 003.

11.  SAB TV organizes the Launch of  PAPAD POL , an adaptation of the literary works of Shahbuddin Rathod, one of the most popular Gujarati writer with starcast Swapnil Joshi & Ami Trivedi from 3.00 PM onwards at Hotel Shangri-La (Ganga & Yamuna), C.P.

12.  ARUNA SHIELDS will address a press conference for film MR SINGH AND MRS MEHTA at 3:00 PM at Spice Cinema, Sec 25 , Noida.

13.  The Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting Choudhury Mohan Jatua will distribute the awards to the winners of the 22nd National Photo Contest at 3.30 P.M. at Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, K.G.Marg.

             

ON WATCH - RADAR & FORTHCOMING EVENTS

1. Free Health check up camp for PRESS CLUB Members and their  families  on 10th & 11th July 2010 from 10 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. at Conference Hall , Press Club of India.

2. Health and Family Welfare Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will be in Washington and Atlanta from June 23 to 25 for the US-India Health Dialogue.      

3. Minister of State for Science and Technology Prithviraj Chavan is scheduled to be in Washington on June 24 and 25 for the US-India Science and Technology Forum, Crowley said.          

4. A glittering ceremony to receive the Queen’s Baton Relay will take place at the Wagah / Attari Border post on Friday, 25 June 2010 from 8:00am onwards.

5. IPL Governing Council to meet on June 25 in Mumbai. ‎

7. Chidambaram will visit Islamabad on June 26 where he will meet Interior Minister Rehman Malik and get a briefing on the trial in Pakistan of the 26/11 plotters and investigations into the attack.

8. S M Krishna will visit Islamabad on July 15 for talks with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureishi.

9. Women’s hockey World Cup 2010 to be held in Rosario, Argentina, from Aug 29 to Sep 11.

10. The Congress Yatra, to commemorate the 125th year of Congress' foundation, will culminate on November 10 with a rally of party President Sonia Gandhi at Allahabad.
